This Living Guide has been divided into sections to make it easy for you to find key information about your new home and the products and systems within it, about your local area and about how to contact both us and other key organisations should you need to. The QR code provided to you at the handover will have all of your important documents, instruction manuals and warranty details. We hope you find these of value.
We have been part of the East London community for nearly 100 years. We began in 1926 as Bethnal Green Housing Association, with our first homes at Queen Margaret Flats opening in 1929, homes we still own and manage today.
Since then, we have grown and evolved, becoming Gateway Housing Association in 2008 following a number of mergers with other local housing associations.
Today, we manage around 3,000 homes across Tower Hamlets, with additional homes in Hackney and Newham. Most of our homes are for affordable rent, alongside shared ownership and homes for sale.
We are proud to be part of the communities we serve, providing safe, secure homes and working alongside residents to build places people feel they belong.
